Hope you can make it to the opening of a new exhibit, From Fields to Family, at the Wing. It's going to be a sensational exhibit on Asian Pacific Americans and food and they'll be featuring five of my prints in the exhibit!

The AAJA Convention in Detroit is now history. Those who attended actually had a great time - better than we thought. To see some of the fun we had, see www.aajaphoto.org Thanks to AAJA photographers who contributed a photo(s) to the Silent Auction. We over 60 prints up for auction. The photo auction itself made over $10,000. New York freelance photographer Corky Lee was curator of the photo auction.

Photojournalist Nick Ut earns AAJA Lifetime Achievement Award

Associated Press photographer Nick Ut will be presented AAJA's top award, Lifetime Achievement Award, at the national convention in Detroit. Ut will be presented his award at the Gala Banquet on Saturday night, August 13.

Silent Auction photo curator Corky Lee has collected less than 20 prints. We usually have on display about 60 images. We can't make much scholarship money with only 20 prints.
